Jewlery Care
How to care for your jewelry
Remember to put your jewelry on last after you have finished getting dressed! Your jewelry can be affected by any perfumes, make-up, deodorant, and body oils.
Remove your jewelry before doing any activity that risks physical damage.
Avoid wearing your jewelry when using bleach, household cleaning products and other strong chemicals.
Keep your jewelry away from extreme temperature or humidity.
Do not leave your jewelry in direct sunlight. Be aware not to wear your jewelry while swimming, as chlorine and salt-water can affect your pieces.
Remove your jewelry before washing your hands or showering.
How to Store
Store your jewelry in a dry place-such as the sealed bag with the anti-tarnish strip that came with your purchase or in a jewelry box away from other pieces. Your jewelry should be kept in an airtight box to prevent any oxidization. Ensure pieces are completely dry before storing.
How to clean
Silver Care:
Mix a few drops of mild soap with warm water and dip in a soft cloth. Rub the jewelry, then rinse in cool water and gently rub with a cotton or flannel lint-free cloth until dry.
OR
To preserve the appearance and longevity, clean your silver jewelry regularly with an anti-tarnish polishing cloth. For heavier tarnishing use a liquid cleaner for sterling silver jewelry.
Gold Plated Care
To preserve the appearance and longevity of your 18K gold plated silver jewelry, simply clean in warm soapy water then dry and buff very gently with a soft cotton lint-free cloth. Do NOT use an anti-tarnish cloth on rhodium or gold plated jewelry.
Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver
Do not use an anti-tarnish cloth. Instead remove tarnish with warm water, mild soap and a clean, soft cotton or flannel cloth.
